I've never done a short-film recommendation before but I thought I would do one today with an excellent movie which was released via YouTube earlier this month.
THE SPACEMAN co-written and directed by Tomfoolery is the story of a young boy, bullied at school, angry about his parents separation and just looking for someone to talk to. Then he receives a radio set for his birthday and while searching the band-waves, he hears a voice broadcasting from outer space...
To tell you anymore would be to spoil it. Suffice to say THE SPACEMAN is an excellent, well-crafted and heartfelt film with outstanding performances from Woody Norman (one of the best child-actors the UK has ever produced), Amanda Abbington and Colin Farrell.
